The Zarryiostrom is an ongoing fantasy/romantasy novel series created and written by fantasy artist Nene Tina Thomas and her husband, Steven Christian Plagman. Currently, there are five books in The Zarryiostrom, with a sixth novel, entitled Badlander: Book Six of the Zarryiostrom, currently being written. The authors say that, when it is completed, the series will contain a total of nine novels, with the story broken up into three internal three-book trilogies. The first trilogy includes “Powerborn: Book One of the Zarryiostrom”, “Usurper: Book Two of the Zarryiostrom”, and “Marionette: Book Three of the Zarryiostrom”. The second internal trilogy includes “Tyro: Book Four of the Zarryiostrom”, “Concubine: Book Five of the Zarryiostrom”, and the upcoming “Badlander: Book Six of the Zarryiostrom.”
The first book of the series, “Powerborn,” was self-published by Nene Thomas and Steven Plagman in 2011. It was initially published as 1,000 hardcover books and then released as an eBook on various platforms, including Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and Apple. “Usurper” was released in 2012, and “Marionette” was released in 2014, completing the first internal trilogy, known as “The Illymar Cycle.”
The second internal trilogy, entitled “The Dragonlands/Badlands Cycle”, encompasses “Tyro”, “Concubine”, and “Badlander”.
