UNESCO‘s list of inscriptions in Memory of the World Register includes 14 inscriptions from India.[1] The latest inscriptions listed in the register are Hindus texts of Bhagavad Gita and Natya Shastra.[2]
In India, Ministry of Culture oversees the task of promoting and preservation of arts and culture.[3]
