Species of beetle

Maladera merkli is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae.[2] It is found in India (Uttarakhand) and Pakistan.[3]

Adults reach a length of about 7.6–9.1 mm. They have a reddish- to yellowish-brown, oval body. The upper surface is mostly dull and glabrous, except for some setae on the head and the lateral cilia of the pronotum and elytra.[4]

The species is named for Otto Merkl.[4]
