Mega Man: Dual Override[a] is an upcoming 2027 action–platform game developed and published by Capcom. The game is the 12th main entry in the original Mega Man series, following Mega Man 11 (2018) nearly 10 years later, making for the longest gap between Mega Man games, and the second-longest gap without a mainline classic entry.
Like prior games in the series, Mega Man: Dual Override follows Mega Man, and features 2D platforming and battling, as he tries to defeat the villain Dr. Wily. Capcom describes the game with “Mega Man returns in 2027 with a brand-new entry in the classic action platforming series! Override challenges and blast down legions of robots while springboarding across a new array of futuristic frontiers!”[1][2]
