Psyché is a 1924 work by the Spanish composer Manuel de Falla. It is scored for voice and chamber ensemble. Although the work was composed in Granada it uses a French text by Georges Jean-Aubry.
The piece can be seen as part of a neoclassical phase in the composer’s work to which his harpsichord concerto also belongs. The neoclassicism is reflected not only in the subject matter of the text, but also in the musical style which references 18th-century music.[1]
