Rayan (Arabic: ريّان or ريان, romanizedrayyān), also spelt Rayyan, Rayyaan, Rayaan, or Raian, is generally a given name of Arabic origin, both male and female,[1] meaning “luxuriant,” “well-watered” or “satiated” in Arabic.[2][3]

This name also has a meaning in Persian. Rayan (Persian: رایان, romanizedraːjaːn , Rāyān), also spelled Ryan, is an Iranian given name of Persian origin.[citation needed] It is primarily a male given name that means “smart”, “wise” or “thinker”.[citation needed]
