Information technology company
RedoQ (pronounced /rɛd ˈɒk/) is a United Kingdom–based information technology company founded in 2010. It is engaged in software development, cloud-infrastructure support and AI services,[citation needed] and and operates internationally, including in India and in regions such as the Middle East and North America.[2][3]
History
RedoQ was founded in 2010[4] in Stoke-on-Trent by Dipal Dutta[5][6] while he was an undergraduate student at Staffordshire University.[7] The company initially developed multilingual electronic point-of-sale systems for restaurants that employed staff from different language backgrounds and nationalities.[8]
Later in 2010, RedoQ introduced FoodFinder, a food-ordering service later rebranded as DineOrder. This platform integrated hardware and software tools for restaurant operations. In 2018, the company expanded its hospitality suite with the launch of Kuick Food, a marketplace and delivery service for restaurants. This was followed by a series of integrated tools, including Kuick Driver, Kuick POS, and Kuick Payments.[9] The company later operated separate divisions. Alrioz Pharmaceutical is associated with the manufacture of trademarked medicines.[citation needed]
In 2024, RedoQ announced plans to increase its operations in India.[10] A new office in Kolkata was inaugurated in January 2025 by Babul Supriyo, minister in-charge of state IT & Electronics department, Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner to East and Northeast India.[11][12]
Investments
In January 2025, RedoQ announced an investment of about ₹20 crore in its Kolkata operations, with plans to increase the amount to ₹50 crore in 2025 and ₹100 crore in 2026.[13]
