These were added into the article far too early – the figures have been changing wildly. The ABC is reporting at least 10 dead. Other sources are saying at least 12 injured. At the time, Australia’s general terrorism threat level was “Probable”. Giving a statement in response to the event, ASIO Director-General Mike Burgess stated that the threat level would remain as such.
