I really don’t think this infobox template is suitable, all the information in it isn’t very useful. Something that looks like 2024–25 snooker season or 2024 ATP Tour would work better. Greenflipper (talk) 19:42, 12 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I can see in the history that the full details of the secondary tours were removed for being unwieldy, which I agree with – but given that every other PDC-related tournament is included, omitting them totally feels strange. I suggest a short section with Main articles links to the three of them and maybe a table of the current players in the top 5 of each tour (i.e. those who are competing for WC spots), and not including all the finals like the Global Affiliate tour sections. I’d be fine with this Greenflipper (talk) 14:06, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone know where to add these? Just noticed the Matchplay wasn’t mentioned outside of the qualifiers table Greenflipper (talk) 16:15, 9 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Are we intending on trying to have a 2025 PDC World Youth Championship page, if we can find appropriate and reliable sourcing? DartsF4 (talk) 16:38, 9 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I’m not sure Greenflipper (talk) 11:23, 11 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@DartsF4 @PaisleyJesus I’d imagine this WYC might get a good bit of coverage Greenflipper (talk) 17:50, 13 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, I would appreciate your help in getting a page sorted DartsF4 (talk) 18:02, 13 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Really stupidly, I didn’t check for a draft first and duplicated a fair amount of work in my sandbox. I’m unlikely to have any time to do much on Wiki for a few weeks though, so thought I’d knock something together while I do and my sandbox will remain pretty stable for a while. Feel free to merge any bits you want/use the blank templates – the main difference I can see from what’s been drafted is my background section and a bit more elaboration on the Greaves-Littler match. Finally got round to helping on this, thanks for doing the bulk of it. Added the last 8 groups so probably good to go live? PaisleyJesus (talk) 13:46, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Once Jack Anthony Sheppard and Mitchell Leeming are sorted yes DartsF4 (talk) 13:47, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Also Gawlas walkover DartsF4 (talk) 13:49, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks guys! Greenflipper (talk) 19:32, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I added a link in the secondary tours section for the World Youth Championship. I figured it made sense there as the vast majority of the players were Dev Tour players. But feel free to move it to another section if you guys think it’s better elsewhere. PaisleyJesus (talk) 01:31, 25 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed when making an edit today that there are currently a number of blank PDCFlag Templates being used as placeholders in tables on this page which cause the following message to appear in table cells: ((Preview warning|unrecognized country in Template:flag icon)) (where the parentheses are meant to be braces). I don’t remember seeing this before, so I’m not sure if it’s a change to the Flag template itself or this was always an error and they’ve only recently been added to the page in advance. The same error doesn’t occur with the PDCFlagR template which has been inserted blank into a lot of table cells. PaisleyJesus (talk) 15:18, 14 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It’s an error message that’s been added to Template:Flag icon to help with removing instances where the template is used without a flag being displayed. There are many darts articles where this is applicable which can be seen in “Category:Flag icons missing country data templates” (I’ve definitely been guilty of leaving these in articles in the past). We should probably help them out and remove these from darts articles Greenflipper (talk) 20:33, 14 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
