It should be noted that the CPI used to measure corruption is under harsh critisism and that the global corruption barmeter released by the same organization (transparency international) places Argentina in the place 31 of 95 countries, with levels of bribery well below the world’s average.

If Argentina ‘supposedly’ claims sovereignty over the Falkland Islands then why does the United Kingdom shown to own it on the maps, Argentina does not indeed have sovereignty over it as Britain owns it. I wanted to report this that it states in the page “Argentina claims sovereignty over the Falkland Islands,” which I must disagree, it may say they do on books, internet etc. but I must disagree due to the map of the world.
This page should instead say Argentina USED too have sovereignty over the Falkland Islands and tried to take it back in 1982 but failed miserably and no longer claims the island as there own.
I just wanted to put it out there and hope this gets fixed in the future,
My regards, rule Britannia. ~2025-31565-43 (talk) 12:05, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
- The wording is fine, “has sovereignty” and “claims sovereignty” are two different things. – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 12:27, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
