See what the criteria are and what they are not
1) Well-written
1a) the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct
1b) it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation
2) Verifiable with no original research, as shown by a source spot-check
2a) it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline
2b) reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose)
2c) it contains no original research
2d) it contains no copyright violations or plagiarism
- According to Earwig, there is a 2.9% similarity. Violation unlikely.
3) Broad in its coverage
3a) it addresses the main aspects of the topic
3b) it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style)
4) Neutral:
4) Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each
5) Stable:
5) Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute
6) Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio
6a) media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content
6b) media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions
Overall:
- Since there isn’t much information about the game, it seems that most everything that could be listed has been listed. I don’t know if there are enough sources for there to be a reception section or paragraph, but sentences like “the sounds effects on Damage Inc. are exquisite” from VICE and “an eye-catching rogues’ gallery of bizarre supporting characters” from Ultimate Classic Rock stand out to me. You can do with these what you think is best, but mentioning some of the “supporting characters” as seen in the concept art may be a good idea.
- When it mentions that players can hijack other vehicles, it should be mentioned that the player can exit their vehicle to do so.
- In the development section, since the game has the same name as a song from their album Master of Puppets, this feels important to mention. The source for this in the development is also not given a timestamp.
- Music video, concept art, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Windows, and Kotaku should be linked when they first appear. Vehicle combat should also link to Vehicular combat game.
- Because this is the first Metallica video game (although cancelled), I think there should be some mention of their first public video game collaborations, being Guitar Hero: Metallica, and/or the Fortnite collaboration.
- Ref. 6 and 11 are the same and should be combined.
- Since versions for the Xbox and Windows were planned, add “Cancelled Xbox games” and “Cancelled Windows games” to the categories.
- The game genres and developers should also be included in the categories, even though it was unreleased. Also add “Video games developed in the United Kingdom” for this same reason.
