Current: iPadOS 16.7.13, released January 26, 2026[1]
This template gives the current version of iPadOS 16. This template is to be used only to refer to iPads that are stuck on iPadOS 16. For fully supported devices, use Template:Current iPadOS.
Per Apple the following models can update to iPadOS 16:
iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPad 5th generation, iPad Pro 9.7-inch, and iPad Pro 12.9-inch 1st generation
