hello Abraham. Well nations as Arabia were claimed to be be apart of there territory right so I’ll put it as “claimed suzerainty” and for funj there is t really and source that says it was a tributary, fun was a large independent nation. If you could provide source that I would be happy, well to the km in still trying to,I haven’t figured out how to measure it. And km² I’m not sure sadly. Search The Ottomans and the Funj Sultanate in the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries and click the one with acidamia and sgin up if you need if found a lot of sources there idk if funj paid the Ottomans since I didn’t find anything about tribute but I did find about trade which is a one sided trade (Ottoman win) and about occupation of parts of it idk its a really disputed nation Abrham1111111111111111 (talk) 14:31, 31 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Well iv read all of them and all. They gave the ottomans gift and used Skilfull deplemetic relationship between them. But sure I’ll check them out. It was more gift then power, they quote on quote said they acknowledge Ottoman superior even tho they didn’t. They were independent and not apart of the Ottoman vassal system bor tributary even tho the ottomans said they were tributary but, yes I’ll check them and and check this out (copy link and paste it)

oh I already checked that source anyways Kasem Bornu had cantrol of its sourrnding and it reached Chad lake and also Chad lake has been decreasing in size so make sure you can create the historic version. and of course it’s only about 80 vassals so mostly completely done tho if you find sources then we can make it higher even 100+ I think you can If you cut the hre and includes Barbary vassals ( vassals that pay to the Algerian Barbary pirate) so a lot of potential new nations Abrham1111111111111111 (talk) 17:01, 31 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

thr thing is that funj wasn’t claimed it was told by an Ottoman Pasha that it was easier to conquer. Which they lost. And France. Papal etc they weren’t tributary. I think I was able to remove most of it, but I wasn’t sure about some of the book sources. If you could take a look through your contributions and remove anything you know that copied, that would be great. But the most important step is to stop copying material going forward. If you’d like help figuring out how to make non-copyvio contributions, the folks at The Teahouse can probably point you in the right direction; I can’t remember which help pages would be most useful.
