:Hello! Both visual and source editing should have a “cite” button at the top. All you really need to do is copy a link to the source and insert it into the link box. You can also do it manually, by entering all the info it tells you to. Citations are a little hard to explain, but there’s a more straightforward description [[Help:Referencing_for_beginners|here]].
:If you want to know anything else, I can still try to help!
:Much love, rock on!

| Welcome to my talk page! Hello! Please leave a new message. I will respond to your message as soon as possible. Thanks and happy editing! Also take care of the following points:

This user is aware of the designation of the following as contentious topics:
They should not be given alerts for those areas. |
(First of all, that IS a quite intimidating Sturgeon of Judgement up there)
Anyway, just giving you a heads-up that there are multiple temp accounts and named accounts messing with that page. If you aren’t careful, a simple revert just tosses a different messed-up version out there. The actual mayor’s name, based on the town’s website, is MariJane Lopez-Taff.
I’m almost to the point of getting ready to start thinking about protecting the page for a while. 😁 Joyous! Noise! 19:21, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
- Whoops! I was quite focused on trying to revert anything that seemed obviously silly or incorrect that I hadn’t looked at anything previous.. It is a bit of a disastrous page. Thanks for the heads up and rock on! ⚠︎ ArkadenBoden ⚠︎ (talk) 20:29, 17 December 2025 (UTC) ⚠︎ ArkadenBoden ⚠︎ (talk) 20:29, 17 December 2025 (UTC)

Hey! How are you?
I’ve always wanted to make some edits on Wikipedia and finally decided to make it happen. —Swagmansonsec (talk) 22:43, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hello! Sorry for the very belated response. I’ve been away for some time.
- Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have a great time editing here.
- You can find some pretty useful items (basically all you will need) here.
- Happy editing. Much love, rock on!

I’m brand new to Wikipedia and just submitted a draft article for review, but can’t seem to locate the draft anywhere or check on the review status. Could you please advise? Thank you! —Sunny9108 (talk) 22:05, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hello, and yes, of course! Navigating this place can be a little confusing at times. But if you type the title of your draft, with Draft: in front of it into the main search bar, it should take you there automatically.
- (For example, if your draft were to be about the planet Saturn, you would type “Draft:Saturn” into the search bar)
- Much love, rock on, and good luck with your first draft!
- P.S. When your draft is denied/accepted, you should get a message on your talk page about it.
- ⚠︎ ArkadenBoden ⚠︎ (talk) 12:16, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for your reply! I really appreciate your patience and sense of humor – having a mentor like you has made this whole process much less intimidating.
- My first draft got a quick denial (oh well!), but I did see the message on my Talk page. I’ll spend some time gathering more sources and give it another try in a few months.
- Thanks again for volunteering your time to guide us “lost ones”. It really makes a difference and I appreciate it so much! Sunny9108 (talk) 16:40, 9 January 2026 (UTC)

Hey, how can I add/create a new article on Wikipedia? —Thatintrovertguy (talk) 11:51, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hello! You can create an article with the article wizard, but since it’s your first article, I would use the draft creator first. That way, you can refine your article before submitting it to be reviewed by others.
- Much love, rock on, and happy writing!

Hi.
When will i be able to submit my draft for review?
Thanks. —ArtistProjects (talk) 22:52, 16 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi! You will be able to submit your draft when it meets the various AfC guidelines and when you click the “submit draft for review” button on the draft page. But first you have to create the draft on a draft page. Right now you have yours in your sandbox. That’s okay! Lots of people start it out in their sandbox. To get it out of your sandbox, just copy paste the content in your sandbox and turn the draft into a draft page using the Article Wizard.
- Much love, rock on, and happy writing!

Hi!
I wanted to ask if and how do I expand an article? I’ve edited an article “Little Aston Hall” and noticed that the article didn’t expand on what happened to the hall in the latter half of the 20th century and modern day. Should I expand it or leave it be? —Javickmakethingsdone (talk) 09:06, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
- Definitely expand it! All you really have to do is paraphrase what reliable sources say about the missing information neutrally and while following the manual of style. If you notice verifiable information is missing, never hesitate to add it! Your fellow Wikimedians will appreciate it tenfold, even if you make mistakes.
- Much love, rock on!

Hello Sir,
I am an up and coming journalist who covers extra-terrestrial crises. How much volume do i need per say to create an acceptable page on any conspiracy theories which are not yet proved valid nor invalid. (Thats if they are allowed)

Hello there my Mentor! I started creating an article in Sandbox. I wanted to upload an image and was sent to another page. Now I can not find my draft article. Can you please help me find it? Thank you! —Fondacioni Hamlet (talk) 15:01, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
Hey! I joined Wikipedia a long time ago to make one edit to one page, and now I’ve come back two years later because it needs more improvement! Anyways, since I’ve been gone my mentor is no longer active and I wanted to know if it’s possible to have two mentors, and if it is how I can get a new one?
Also general Wikipedia etiquette question, is it alright to post questions like this one to random users talk pages (I wanted to ask for advice from my Mentor’s former page stalker since they gave me some advice in the past, but I don’t know if that’s ok or not). Also how do you insert the fish hit at the end of a message? Thanks! Wik206 (talk) 07:11, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hello! I’m certainly glad to see you interested in helping us out after all this time! To get a new mentor, you’ll need to be adopted by a new mentor. Since I’m generally active, I decided to pick you up. I’d certainly say that messaging people to ask them questions is generally fine as long as they’re: A. a mentor themself, B. A talkpage stalker, or C. otherwise someone who answers questions.
- The fish-slap is called trouting! If directed at another user (which should be used affectionately if anything), you can place the word trout with curly brackets around it in a message. I usually use itrout, which produces one in-line. Like this
Trout. If you use it to point out your own mistake (as I usually do), do the same but with self-trout. Self-trout like this! If you’re stuck, you can look at the source for this message and copy it. - Send me any other questions whenever!
- Much love, rock on!
