Thank you for the explanation. I understand now that creating new articles, especially with a potential conflict of interest, is not the best place for a newer editor to start. My intention going forward is to avoid creating articles and instead focus on improving existing ones—fixing formatting, adding reliable sources, correcting minor errors, and learning Wikipedia’s processes properly.

I’m happy to contribute in areas that are non-controversial and do not involve any organisations I’m connected with. The goal for me is simply to learn how to edit constructively without causing issues. If unblocked, I will stick to general editing and stay away from COI-related topics unless requesting changes through the talk pages.

Thanks again for your guidance.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Why Media Ltd, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled “Contest this speedy deletion”. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Lynch44 12:24, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a business directory, so a company is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article merely for the fact that it exists. All topics must be notable by Wikipedia’s definition to merit inclusion. In the specific case of a company, it must meet the notability criteria for companies and organizations. For this to happen, the company must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest. —Drm310 🍁 (talk) 12:55, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, website, or role, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text “Your proposed new username” with your new username and replace the text “Your reason here” with your reasons to be unblocked.

Before requesting a new username, check if it is still available. If the search says “There is no global account for [username]”, the username is free to use.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text “Your reason here” with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the edit. – robertsky (talk) 13:28, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I receive no compensation for uploading to wikipedia specially however, I have disclosed my employer, I understand why I have been blocked. I have reviewed why I have been blocked and the page I created and I understand completely. While it was not my intention to use Wikipedia as a source of marketing or sales I understand how the wording could reflect that. If I was to be unblocked I would take more time creating pages and make sure to never use any wording that could flag as sales or marketing and only use facts when creating pages and editing content. I would very much appreciate if I was to be unblocked so I could continue to contribute to Wikipedia. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Administrators should consider discussing any unblock with the blocking administrator (see the blocking policy).

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, please replace this template with the following:

Creating a new article(the preferred term instead of the broader “page”; an article is a page but not every page is an article) is the most difficult task to perform on Wikipedia, and it’s even harder with a conflict of interest. You wouldn’t attempt to build a new house or build a new car without learning the skills and processes needed to do so- it’s the same with Wikipedia, there are many things to learn and on the job training doesn’t usually work. Diving right in to article creation is not recommended. Furthermore, creating a new article is not the only or even best way to contribute- many editors are very successful contributors and never create a single new article. What contributions do you want to make? 331dot (talk) 09:46, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
