Hello – I wish to add content about the early years of the Fairfield University radio station, WVOF. I added information with citations in my “sandbox” but am not sure what to do next. Hello! I’ve signed up in order to make some edits to the pages of creators/writers/producers who are attached to a new Stargate television project, since I noticed the entry for the show’s creator, Marin Gero, is both out of date and incomplete. I’ve made a few updates already, but I intend to more fully update the page later. Any general advice as I do so? —Rhetorical Lemur (talk) 17:47, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
Hi, Endrabcwizart. As proof of the existence of no less than 12 musical settings of the ‘Stabat mater’, the corresponding Wikipedia article cites one single, in my opinion very weak/not necessarily reliable, source, the booklet of a CD by a Czech label: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stabat_Mater#cite_ref-Supraphon1988_12-0
I plan to, wherever possible, replace this with single links to the corresponding scores on IMSLP, e.g. https://imslp.org/wiki/Stabat_Mater%2C_NJE_25.9_(Josquin_Desprez) .
I would then reserve the Supraphon reference to the Dvořák setting.
How do I go about this without breaking anything?
Thanks in advance. —Pontneuf2025 (talk) 08:30, 20 November 2025 (UTC)

Hey! How are you? I’ve attempted to add a page that was previously was redirected. I was wondering if I am creating a new page then does it mean redirect will be gone? Or do I need to remove it from somewhere? Thanks so much for your help! —Marimanger (talk) 14:47, 21 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi there! I’m not your mentor, but I’m doing alright. The redirect will not immediately be gone. You will have to nominate the redirect for deletion after the page is created. You can learn more about that here. Good luck and rock on!

Hello,
I don’t understand why my article has been declined a second time. Many, nearly all of my sources are secondary sources. I have seen other musician’s pages using primary sources/social medias with no problem (Ex: Machine Girl (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine_Girl)
Thanks

- If you find this type of article on Wikipedia, you can improve it. If improvement is not possible, you may proceed with the AfD (Articles for Deletion) process to request removal. However, comparing your article with others is not considered good faith. The best solution is to improve your article as much as possible before submitting it. Thank you. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Mrs Nepal World when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

Hello, In short, I’d like to figure out how to cite this
On the Tap and Die entry https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tap_and_die
I’d like to point out that the tools are readily available in hardware, home improvement stores, etc., and that they are basic tools, that is, the average person could use them and small shops use them.
I’d guess most people know this, but i believe both important to point out.
THE machinist’s reference points out every mechanical aspect of Taps and Dies, but they don’t discuss their availability or difficulty of use, nor is the NYTs or Yale journals going to write an article about such tools.
Not trying to do a how-to
(I’m going thru and putting citations in a lot of these machinist entries, guys have great info based on their knowledge, and they’re near 100% right on with Machinery’s handbook, but it takes time, and their wording gets a bit more jumbled than, say, contributors to literary works)
Thank you Progress and Poverty (talk) 23:38, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
- You can improve the article, according to wikipedia editing policy Endrabcwizart (talk) 07:42, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, OK, ‘the sky is blue’, ‘water is wet’ sorta thing?
- Just state they’re readily available in retail hardware and home improvement stores.
- Thanks Progress and Poverty (talk) 12:14, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- Done, I added citations best I could, Thanks again Progress and Poverty (talk) 13:16, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
Hello, thanks for the advice on tap and die page.
The Milling (Machining) page was merged (made?) from the milling machine page.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milling_(machining)
This is absolutely NUTS, it says the Talk history for why it was moved was deleted.
MOST of the page is about types of milling machines
There must be a milling machine page, exactly the same as there’s metal Lathe page, and lathe isn’t put under ‘turning,’ nor is an automobile put under ‘driving.’
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_lathe
How would one go about splitting the two???
I have left a message on the talk page
Thanks in advance —Progress and Poverty (talk) 18:04, 12 December 2025 (UTC)

Hi Endrabcwizart,
I want to edit a legal citation for the below page and add some narrative about where the States lined up on the result of the litigation. Since the article links directly to Justia for its content I am not sure this is possible?
It maybe policy not to allow edits because its a SCOTUS decision, I am not sure. It is not of the “controversial” variety as far as the Court’s decisions go. Also, I am new to editing and may just not understand.
Thanks!
