== Aer Lingus JFK End Date == |
|||
|
Hello. Just thought I’d let you know, the reason I put 22nd February for the Aer Lingus MAN-JFK date is that the source states that there will be no flights “from” the 23rd February, so the last flight is on the 22nd February (I have also checked Aer Lingus’s site and there is no departure from MAN-JFK direct on the 23rd). I know the wording is a bit odd on the source so I’d thought I’d clarify why I put the 22nd. |

However I’m not sure how we can state this properly on here since they’ll likely be no mention of the last day being the 22nd, so if you have any ideas then please let me know. [[User:MKY661|MKY661]] ([[User talk:MKY661|talk]]) 09:21, 29 January 2026 (UTC) |

Request reason:
I am requesting that my block be reviewed. I am apologising for personal attacks made to User:Danners430. I ask that all of the edits I’ve made to Wikipedia be taken into consideration. They were made in good-faith and I stand by all of them. My only goal on Wikipedia was to provide factual and accurate information. This however, put me in direct conflict with Danners430. The personal attacks made by me were from a place of frustration with Danners430’s passive-aggressive and direct tone, which I didn’t appreciate. However, I take full responsibility for any personal attacks I made. I also ask that both sides of the story be taken into consideration. While Danners430 may not have made personal attacks, their tone, blunt and direct approach in responding to other user’s is enough to warrant caution in future interactions. If I’m going to be reprimanded for personal attacks, it seems only fair and reasonable that Danners430 be made aware of his communication style on Wikipedia. Thank you.Frequentflyer93 (talk) 13:45, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I’m declining this for three reasons. First, WP:NOTTHEM. Second, the WP:ANI thread talks about “persistent personal attacks”; it’s not immediately clear if these were always only targeting Danners430, but you should address this. Third, you were told you needed to acknowledge your disregard of TBF’s warning, but don’t appear to have done so here. Yamla (talk) 13:56, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
As an editor who mainly edited airline and airport pages on Wikipedia, I would consider myself largely unaware of the vast majority of Wikipedia’s policies and procedures. However, having read what was pointed out to me in my first unblock request by Yamla, I am more prepeared to request my account be unblocked for a second time. I apologise for not getting my unblock request right the first time around. With that being said, I would like to apologise for the personal attacks I made to Danners430. Also, to the best of my knowledge I don’t remember personally attacking any other user apart from Danners430, but if I did I would also like to extend an apology. Lastly, I am acknowledging that I disregarded TBF’s warning and I also apologise for that. I can assure you that my presence on Wikipedia will be constructive moving forward should my unblock request be successful, and I will not resort to personal attacks. If I have left anything out of this unblock request, please let me know. Thank you. Frequentflyer93 (talk) 16:05, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
Accept reason:
(In case anyone is looking for my opinion in addition to Acroterion‘s, I’m fine with any result, be it unblock or decline, whatever. Placing the block was a good decision in my eyes; I’ll abstain from judging whether the block remains needed.) ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:14, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
- I echo ToBeFree: I am fine with unblocking, but with the observation that it took two requests to address my notes at ANI and ToBeFree’s comments from November. Frequentflyer93 should recognize that there is going to be little patience for any recurrence of the behavior that brought the warnings and block. Acroterion (talk) 18:28, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
Cheers for that removal – must have missed that one somehow! Danners430 tweaks made 14:39, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
