Correct me if I’m wrong but it never shown that Akaza regretted killing Kyojuro. He explicitly stated he was glad Kyojuro’s death had strengthened Tanjiro. Regarding why he killed himself, him turning Keizo’s martial arts into a weapon could be interpreted as saying he regretted killing Kyojuro, or more likely killing however many people in the past.
