First ever barnstar, thank you!!! Xaneqînî (talk) 20:42, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ilamxan/Xaneqinî,

I have noticed your contributions to Kurdish history articles on Wikipedia for quite some time and greatly appreciate your work.

I am part of a small Discord group focused on Kurdish topics—including articles, battles, and related subjects—that need editing, creation, or discussion. The group currently has eight members, and I believe your expertise would make a valuable addition.

If you are interested, I would be happy to share the link so you can join and perhaps share your knowledge with the group.

Thank you in advance for considering this invitation.

Hello. Yes, I would love to help but right now I am very busy. I will reach out to you when I am ready soon. Ilamxan (talk) 11:56, 17 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, just tell me on the day you’re ready cause the links of invitation expire fast. Maybe make an estimate when you’ll be ready?😅
Thanks! MoggerChico (talk) 16:52, 17 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Is the offer still there? ✹Ilamxan⛰︎ (talk) 13:26, 16 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I saw the pages you created. I was wondering if you could create some pages for me as well. The topics I want are:

Kurdified Armenians
Arabized Kurds
Armenianized Kurds Ömereditss (talk) 10:48, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I’ve been working on Kurdified Armenians for a while. Arabized Kurds (and Arabized Persians) is definitely something I wanna work on. I’ve never heard of Kurds being Armenianized (other than a few historic exceptions usually of Christian converts). If you have sources for any of them just send. ✹Ilamxan⛰︎ (talk) 16:54, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

By “Armenianized Kurds,” I mean Armenianized Yazidis.
Bonus, I’ll give a few more ideas:
Turkified Kurds
You can also create pages for Kurds by their cities (e.g., Ağrı Kurds, Van Kurds, Hakkari Kurds, Mardin Kurds) Ömereditss (talk) 17:07, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Also, can you create an article about whether Zazas are Kurds or not? Ömereditss (talk) 17:09, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Those Yazidis in Armenia don’t identify as Kurds. Everytime an article about Yazidi nationalism is made, they delete it instantly even though its a real phenomenon. And there is already Kurdish Turkization in Turkey and Zaza nationalism. ✹Ilamxan⛰︎ (talk) 17:45, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yazidis isnt Kurdish??
Also, let me give you a good idea:
Creating a page called “Kurdish–Assyrian Relations” would be great. Ömereditss (talk) 17:49, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yazidis are indeed Kurds but most of those Yazidis in Armenia are refugees from Iraq and Syria who faced so much persecution that simply being Yazidi is enough for them and they don’t want to ask for more, so Armenia takes advantage of it to divide them from Kurds. I made a page called “Assyrian–Kurdish conflict” not too long ago but despite its details they still deleted it. ✹Ilamxan⛰︎ (talk) 17:54, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, okay. Lastly, can you create an article like “Kurds in Turkish War of Independence”? The Kurds played many different roles in this war. Ömereditss (talk) 18:11, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I’ve been wanting to make it because it explains alot about modern day. ✹Ilamxan⛰︎ (talk) 19:47, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, could you give me your Discord or Telegram if you want? We could talk more comfortably and openly there, but if you don’t want to, I’m fine with continuing to talk here, no problem. Ömereditss (talk) 17:23, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

And on Discord, someone claimed to be your friend and gave me your Telegram. Can I ask if it’s true or not? Ömereditss (talk) 16:01, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t know what is going on but I have no connection to it at all. ✹Ilamxan⛰︎ (talk) 02:15, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Oh Ok Ok Ömereditss (talk) 05:55, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Luri tribal insurgency in Pahlavi Iran when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

Thank you for the message and for fixing my mistake. ✹Ilamxan⛰︎ (talk) 01:06, 31 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please don’t move articles, especially featured articles, away from long-standing titles. And please read up on our naming conventions before making any more moves. Thanks. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:59, 5 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I did it because many Iranian embassies around the world have been besieged before, and even in London the siege was not the only attack. Thank you for your message and I’ll be sure to be more careful next time. ✹Ilamxan⛰︎ (talk) 02:09, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You should use the requested moves process for any potentially contentious moves, but the policy I linked above explains that precision is only one of the criteria. Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:02, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:1991 uprising in Kut, Iraq.jpeg. I noticed that the file’s description page currently doesn’t specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website’s terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 08:27, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
