Hello, I’m Bruce1ee. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Timeline of web search engines, but you didn’t provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it’s important that article content be verifiable. If you’d like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bruce1eetalk 17:17, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I added all the text as page was empty and it was all verifiable facts so explain to me how that’s not a reliable source. Jay Michael Raffa (talk) 18:10, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Click-through rate. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. —Bruce1eetalk 17:22, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No problem ti asked to describe ctr manipulation and believed I was doing that but maybe the course was not adequate Jay Michael Raffa (talk) 18:27, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I want to create my own user page how can I accomplish that? I dont want to do anything wrong Jay Michael Raffa (talk) 18:27, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I’m Monkeysmashingkeyboards. An edit that you recently made to Shoshana Shendelman seemed to be generated using a large language model (an “AI chatbot” or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. monkeysmashingkeyboards (talk) 18:07, 8 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

this is all accurate info backed by cited resources whats wrong with Wikipedia these days? Cant update the correct information why? Jay Michael Raffa (talk) 19:57, 8 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jay Michael Raffa. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Shoshana Shendelman, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia’s mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a “black hat” practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Jay Michael Raffa. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Jay Michael Raffa|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. It looks very much like you were paid to “whitewash” this article by completely replacing the content. That is not acceptable. 10mmsocket (talk) 18:12, 8 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not paid just helping her because you have allowed false information to be posted publicly and what we edited here is all backed and has been cited by factual resources. This information is accurate and exactly what her Wikipedia should read Jay Michael Raffa (talk) 19:56, 8 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jay Michael Raffa! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Shoshana Shendelman and marked it as “minor”, but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, “minor edit” refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. TornadoLGS (talk) 18:57, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

ok but whats the issue all the info I am trying to add for her is correct and verifiable. I wont mark minor again, but it needs to remain live what i am doing many hours being placed on this just to help her Jay Michael Raffa (talk) 19:00, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I don’t have any issue with the information you are adding. The only issue in this instance was marking the edits as minor. TornadoLGS (talk) 19:22, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
great ty I need to edit another section for her and I will be aware not to use that minor edit tab. still learning Jay Michael Raffa (talk) 19:23, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Jay Michael Raffa. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Shoshana Shendelman, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation‘s terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

Based in your responses above, it is clear that you have some sort of connection to the article subject. You must declare that connection. Jay8g [VTE] 08:15, 10 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
