Information icon Hello, I’m Dafootballguy. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bob Whan, but you didn’t provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it’s important that article content be verifiable. If you’d like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dafootballguy (talk) 04:43, 25 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the notification.
I was a friend and neighbour of Bob and his wife Gill and know the family well including his son Steve. Gill recently received an OAM so I thought it appropriate that she be added to the page.
Could you advise how I should best add a citation. Nezzgo (talk) 04:50, 25 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! On Wikipedia, details about people have to have a published, reliable source attached to them. It sounds like there is no published source mentioning that detail, so we need to wait. Once it is published in a reliable source, we’ll be able to add it to the article with an inline citation. You can read more about Wikipedia’s verifiability policy by clicking this link, and more about citing sources in general here at this link. Thank you for your contributions, and happy editing 🙂 tony 04:52, 25 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Find a reliable source. Wikipedia:Citing sourcesshould help. Side note, if you knew the person read Wikipedia:DISCLOSE, it’s important. Happy editing. Dafootballguy (talk) 04:52, 25 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
