Hi Ponyo, I noticed you salted the pages Gizelle Bryant and Gizelle A Bryant for persistent sockpuppetry. I created a draft article for Bryant at Draft:Gizelle Bryant, as I do believe she is notable enough for an article. Would you be willing to review the draft and recreate the article? Thanks in advance. Mellamelina (talk) 00:09, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
- The draft you’ve written is very similar to the article that was deleted based on consensus at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gizelle Bryant. In fact, the deleted article has even more content and assertions of notability than your draft, so I’m not so sure it would survive another AfD. That being said, the draft is protected against recreation by s specific sock, so if the draft is reviewed and approved I (or another admin) can lower the protection so it can be moved.– Ponyobons mots 16:51, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
Hi Ponyo, I found your page from a few days ago when you blocked StudDoctor9000 (talk · contribs) for being a sockpuppet (I was involved in the conversation that originally led to the master being blocked). Apologies if I should take this straight to a notice board, but I was wondering if we could get some page protection at Salt Lake City International Airport? There’s an IP editor who, every few days, edits the page with the same edits. The edits are not constructive and I have constantly reverted the edits since the user started doing this, which has been going on for almost 2 years now (here’s one I reverted from October 2023: [1]). I eventually brought it to the talk page over a year ago in June 2024 (seen here: [2]) which eventually led to the page being protected for 2 months [3]. This stopped the IP for a bit, but they eventually started up their edits again this past May [4] and have been doing it consistently ever since. I’ve left constant talk page messages and warnings on several of the IPs, but the user never responds and they have never once used an edit summary. Just wondering what you think would be the best way to have this handled or if we can get the page protected again (for longer this time if possible). Again, I apologize if I should go straight to a notice board, I’m just not sure the best course of action given how long this has been going on. Thanks! (VenFlyer98 (talk) 23:19, 2 October 2025 (UTC))
- The IP range is a small and consistent one (see these contribs) so a partial block would be a simple solution. I was a bit conflicted on this though as it is, at heart, a content dispute. That being said, while there was no consensus for the naming at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Airports/Archive 20#Washington National Name, there is a very narrow consensus for the Washington–National link at Talk:Salt Lake City International Airport. As the IP has never made an argument at all for their preferred version, I’ve partial blocked the range from the article.– Ponyobons mots 15:41, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
Hi again @Ponyo, at Dalal (surname), I have reverted this edit: [5] which you can see at [6], but for some reason, the history shows the revert has been undone, even when it was not (maybe because of removing the references header at [7].) Hi Ponyo! I see you regularly revert this longtime bugger who originally edited as User:Abdulaziz999982 and later resorted to socks. Can you please use your powers and check if these three accounts User:BDN2, User:BD85 and User:Marzst are somehow the same person? Because like in Deidré Laurens, the IP i mentioned edited in which they changed the subject title due to a move which was very recently done by BDN2, resulting in a revert by myself due to being arbitrary and lacked consensus for the new title. Thankyou. zoglophie•talk• 16:26, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
More : Look here, their edits are one after another, changing names without any consensus in the respective talk pages of the subjects. Same in 2024 African Badminton Championships page history. Hello Ponyo,
On behalf of the Kwara State University Wikimedia Fan Club, I would like to request review and unblocking of one of our members’ accounts on wikipedia.
Her accounts appear to have been blocked, and we believe this may have happened unintentionally. This user is active contributor in Wikimedia projects and members of our university club
User:Grace0011
We sincerely appreciate your time and support, and we assure you that our team will continue to uphold Wikimedia’s guidelines and standards going forward. Pet002 (talk) 11:23, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Pet002: There was no error in the blocking, and the reason for the block is noted on Grace0011’s user talk page. Grace0011 was incorrectly linking hundreds upon hundreds of common terms contrary to Wikipedia’s Manual of Style. This was brought to their attention repeatedly, including with a short-term block, yet they continued without responding to any of the concerns raised by fellow editors. The path forward to an unblock is for Grace0011 to post an appeal on their talk page that demonstrates an understanding as to why they were blocked and will communicate with others when concerns are raised, as is required on this collaborative project. This is further explained at WP:GAB.– Ponyobons mots 19:04, 16 October 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I’m reaching out with a suggestion. The Women’s Handball World Championship is approaching, and I’ve noticed that the main article contains quite a few inaccuracies. Specifically, the medal table separates countries in a way that contradicts how the IHF presents them in its official bulletins. The IHF recognizes certain countries as successors to the results of former, now non-existent nations, and this is confirmed in all of their official publications and presentations.
The current table, as it stands, is not shown or available anywhere as an official source. I have created a revised table modeled after FIFA and UEFA competitions (since the situation is identical in handball), with all relevant references included. I would like to publish it, if you agree. However, if you have any other suggestions or advice, I’d be glad to help. Based on suggestions and advice (since I’m new to this whole system), I also wrote on the talk page, but I don’t think anyone will respond.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Sportopedia (talk • contribs)

2.~2025-34956-20
3.~2025-35012-17
4.~2025-32686-72
5.~2025-31697-88
I didn’t tag them….cuz I wasn’t sure. So, can you please just tell me that if these kind of usernames are common or not….Is it a Wikipedia feature that new users are getting these kind of usernames?….Or it could be a banned user trying to edit via multiple accounts.

A revert you made on 23 October 2025 for sockpuppetry of edits by 204.84.113.251 (talk · contribs) has been basically redone by one of the new temporary accounts, ~2025-35661-43 (talk · contribs), including the wording “the The New York Times” that drew my attention to it the first time around. They’ve also edited, and submitted to afc, the article Draft:Jared Miller (composer) that 204.84.113.251 had worked on as well. I’m suspecting that it might be the same person back around again, but I don’t know the name of the original account to refer to that. Orxenhorf (talk) 03:50, 23 November 2025 (UTC)

Hello 🙂 I noticed you removed the latest username the LTA used at Izno’s talk page. Take care! tony 20:51, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
- Got it. When I revert edits from accounts with abusive names I generally revert directly back to the previous version instead of using rollback or undo as it prevebts the username from being repeated in the edit summary. Hello, Ponyo,
When you “nuke” an editor’s articles, like for User:Dylanisajet99, unfortunately you neglect to delete their talk pages. Right now, there are over 440+ article talk pages that need to be deleted. I believe there is a checkbox when you use Nuke which you can tag to also delete also talk pages and redirects. I usually take care of these when editors use the Nuke feature, but it’s Thanksgiving here and this is over 400 pages! You think you can get to all of these orphaned talk pages today? Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 23:34, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
- That’s odd Liz, I was certain I clicked the “delete associated talk page” option. It’s why I included the note “talk pages deleted as WP:CSD#G8” in my rationale, in addition to the G5 notice, as most of the talk pages were created by someone other than the sock account. Maybe something went wrong due to the size of the deletion batch? I’ll take a look.– Ponyobons mots 23:39, 27 November 2025 (UTC)

A week ago you partial-blocked a big /43 range from a large list of articles. I just wanted to point out that significant previous blocks exist for this person while they were using other internet methods. Here’s a case where the two methods intersected.[14][15]
I think of this person as being focused on Angelina Ballerina and Lily’s Driftwood Bay and Poppy Cat[16] but of course they have many other targets. They were blocked for three years for hoaxing but that expired a few weeks ago.
Maybe I should draw up a page about this at WP:Long-term abuse. Binksternet (talk) 01:00, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Binksternet: I’ve added a few articles/userpages to the block, but the range has been blocked by many different admins over the past three years (full block log here). I believe there are at least two LTAs bouncing around this range; @Drmies: was the last admin to site-block the range.– Ponyobons mots 17:52, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
You blocked ~2025-34716-38 and the underlying IP, and banreverted this edit by them at Lesley Joseph. Now ~2025-37784-27 has made the same edit again, and TAIV geolocation information indicates they are likely to be the same user.
Also could you clue me in as to who this editor is? fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 02:15, 2 December 2025 (UTC)

Hi Ponyo, I am coming to you not because you are a CU but because you are familiar with their behaviour and this involves TA/IPs. Please take a look at Black Cat (2020 comic) and the TA that created it and their underlying IP ( (I did reject the draft but they removed the reject so someone else accepted it). You’ll see you blocked the earliest TA but not the IP so they kept using it (not a complaint). Ninja did block that IP back in 2023 for 3 months. All the subsequent TAs/IPs who edited the draft/article are also TTT24 so I think the article should be G5’d. Sorry, I wish I could be more transparent and provide convenience links, etc. but fear violating the TAIV rules. If you prefer me filing an SPI, let me know.
This whole TA thing is a mess. It creates so .much. more. work. and allows so much more abuse. I haven’t even been around that much since its implementation but even with my little experience, I am starting to believe that both the TA and IP in most cases should be blocked. Ugh! S0091 (talk) 21:11, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- I deleted it per CSDG5 and protected the page. And yes, the TA thing is a nightmare. — Ponyobons mots 21:21, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks! I think TAs will eventually lead to banning non-registered users, something I would have struggled with before TAs but now would support without blinking an eye. S0091 (talk) 21:35, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
Hi, good to see you clearing up after a couple of Vanderpumpstan socks overnight. I’d flagged a lot of their SPA Commons uploads recently (celebrity photos and signatures taken from other websites which they claim to have obtained themselves, often claiming to be a close relative), which they seem to be trying to keep separate from Wikipedia by not adding the photos directly from the same registered account.
Could you cast your eye over commons:User:Loosjxjeloz on Commons (which includes a Jaden Ladega signature), if the LTA is fresh in your mind? No worries if not, I’ll get a formal SPI together over there when I have the time. Belbury (talk) 09:56, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
- None of my super powers translate over to Commons, and the Loosjxjeloz account isn’t registred here, so I’m not sure what I can do to help? — Ponyobons mots 18:17, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oh, I see, didn’t realise. I’ll SPI it at Commons at some point, then. Belbury (talk) 09:07, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I hope you can help delete my user page and apply protection for autoconfirmed accounts only. Thanks! P. ĐĂNG (talk) 07:52, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
