I find it puzzling that platforms such as e-Choupal, Digital Green, and FarmVille, among many others, have dedicated Wikipedia pages. In contrast, My FarmWell – a free application developed by well-known institutions (IBM and the University of Sharjah) with a clear social impact cannot have a Wikipedia page, despite the detailed information provided in the draft and the fact that the app has been installed by thousands of users and has been featured in hundreds of publications.

Hi @Prof Inventor. Wikipedia has, unfortunately, many tens of thousands of terrible articles that no volunteer editor has improved yet. We judge each new draft on it’s own merits in comparison to our current policies.

Two things would make your draft more acceptable (though I cannot guarantee acceptance): stronger secondary independent sources; and a re-write to focus on only summarising those secondary independent sources.

It’s better to speedily delete the page, instead of including the tag, as we have shared the draft (Draft:My FarmWell – Wikipedia) with the beneficiaries of the FREE app.

Kindly delete the page as soon as possible.
