:Hey there, Nat. I know we’ve bumped into each other at various points in time (especially on the ”Peanuts” articles; I only got involved in that Emily Neves dispute when I saw what was going on in my watchlist that August), but I’ve always tried my very best to help bring various Wikipedia articles up to the highest degree during my time here (for example, I helped bring [[Benjamin Britten]] and many ”[[Final Fantasy]]” articles up to FA), participate in some discussions where we can resolve things, getting rid of vandalism, archiving dead citations, and assess various articles where needed.

:Some of the sudden overlapping you mentioned include the ”Peanuts” articles (like I said, I grew up on that franchise since my childhood and know about its history, especially Charles M. Schulz); I actually have some of these articles on my watchlist and did some cleanup on some of them over the past few years. I often have to clean-up said ”Peanuts” articles (namely the infoboxes as per an animated adaptation’s credits, removing separate staff listings since the main staff already covered inside the infobox, etc.) and tidy them up as needed (i.e. fixing dead citations, trimming down plots, etc.). My ultimate goal on the ”Peanuts” articles is that I’m personally thinking about planning to get the franchise (or maybe the animated specials) up to a featured topic or at least a good topic, and even making the Charles M. Schulz article a GA/FA since he’s a major historical figure. One of the reason why I wanted to help out with the situation over at [[Reagan Revord]] is to have it done peacefully, so I summoned {{u|Sergecross73}} there.

The first chart denotes the status of current requests for adminship and requests for bureaucratship, and is automatically updated by Cyberbot I. If the chart has only the title rows, it means there are no requests of one or both types.
The second chart lists the statuses of urgent featured article candidates and featured article reviews, and is also manually updated.
The third chart lists the status of the current DRN discussions and is automatically updated.

Hi! I noticed that you’ve recently opened several FLRCs for articles on TV seasons. I’ve been working through some of them myself and made a tracker at my user sandbox to help spot lists that may need more urgent attention. Nothing needed on your end, just figured I’d pass it along to you since you seem to be working on something similar. RunningTiger123 (talk) 01:30, 7 May 2025 (UTC)

Hello, Sjones23. Per your request, your account has been granted temporary account IP viewer rights. You are now able to reveal the IP addresses of individuals using temporary accounts that are not visible to the general public. This is very sensitive information that is only to be used to aid in anti-abuse workflows. Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Temporary account IP viewer for more information on this user right. It is important to remember:
- You must not share IP address data with someone who does not have the same access permissions unless disclosure is permissible as per guidelines listed at Foundation:Policy:Wikimedia Access to Temporary Account IP Addresses Policy.
- Access should not be used for political control, to apply pressure on editors, or as a threat against another editor in a content dispute. There must be a valid reason to investigate a temporary user. Note that using multiple temporary accounts is not forbidden, so long as they are not used in violation of policies (for example, block or ban evasion).
It is also important to note that the following actions are logged for others to see:
- When a user accepts the preference that enables or disables IP reveal for their account.
- Revealing an IP address of a temporary account.
- Listing the temporary accounts that are associated with an IP address or CIDR range.
Remember, even if a user is violating policy, avoid revealing personal information if possible. Use temporary account usernames rather than disclosing IP addresses directly, or give information such as same network/not same network or similar. If you do not want the user right anymore then please ask me or another administrator and it will be removed for you. You may voluntarily give up their access at any time by visiting Special:Preferences. Happy editing! — rsjaffe 🗣️ 17:16, 4 August 2025 (UTC)
While we’re both editors with long histories and sizable edit accounts, I don’t recall running into you before in my edits. Oh, I’m sure we’ve bounced into each other at some point, but nothing that I recall drawing notice.
However, since encountering you on Talk:Emily Neves a weak and a half ago, I have been seeing making recent edits all over my watchlist, notably with the Peanuts-related pages where I normally work on the Talk pages, but just now on Reagan Revord.
Is there a reason for all this sudden overlap in where we edit? — Nat Gertler (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hey there, Nat. I know we’ve bumped into each other at various points in time (especially on the Peanuts articles; I only got involved in that Emily Neves dispute when I saw what was going on in my watchlist that August), but I’ve always tried my very best to help bring various Wikipedia articles up to the highest degree during my time here (for example, I helped bring Benjamin Britten and many Final Fantasy articles up to FA), participate in some discussions where we can resolve things, getting rid of vandalism, archiving dead citations, and assess various articles where needed.

My ultimate goal on the Peanuts articles is that I’m personally thinking about planning to get some of the franchise’s works (like the animated specials) and eventually Peanuts up to a featured topic or at least a good topic, and even making the Charles M. Schulz article a GA/FA since he’s a major historical figure. One of the reason why I wanted to help out with the situation over at Reagan Revord is to get a good resolution, so I asked Sergecross73 to look into that situation.
