Thanks for the quick approval of my addition of Vigilance. I’ll try to trim the NPR quote, but not from my phone.

And much admiration for your productivity. So many edits in just eight months! Ten times what I’ve done in 19 years. Steve98052 (talk) 01:06, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Of course- nice job putting together the article! And thank you for the kind words 🙂 Zzz plant (talk) 01:30, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I cut the in-line quote of the summary, and moved the full quote to a footnote. I’m not sure whether it needs to be there at all, but better there than in-line. I also added some description of the review, with less direct quotation. — Steve98052 (talk) 18:47, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, it looks great! I removed the excessive quote tag. Zzz plant (talk) 21:47, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You added Category:Unprintworthy redirects to List of World Heritage Sites of Mauretania and World Heritage Sites of Mauretania. This is not needed, just tag them with Category:Incorrect names, which is already tagged as unprintworthy. Also, I think Mauretania isn’t a misspelling but an incorrect name, you can create a request for consensus if you disagree. 🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩 Easternsahara 🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩 02:42, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No opposition to classifying them as R from incorrect names, but the only thing I’ve seen about the redundant printworthiness is here Wikipedia:Printability#Redundant, which seems to be in favor of allowing it. If there’s been any other recent discussion or RfC that I’m not aware of feel free to link. It doesn’t seem like a redirect can appear more than once in an (un)printworthy category either way. Hello. I wanted to thank you again for the kind message, and I also have come asking for some advice. I have been considering requesting NPR rights for a while, and since you have had NPR for a few months, it seems, I was wondering if you think I should run now (or in the near future) or if I should wait a bit. I have read the criteria and I appear to satisfy everything, but that of course doesn’t guarantee anything. I would appreciate some input. Thanks! Lynch44 21:44, 28 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, of course, and thank you again for your nice articles 🙂
A spot check of your activity looks quite good to me, but as I’ve never evaluated any requests for permission I can’t say for sure what the outcome would be. FWIW, I believe it’s a bit more relaxed to get AFC perm versus NPP perm, so you could start with the former if you want to build some more confidence there first. I think that’s what I did. Hi. I translated an article from Russian Wikipedia. If you have time, please take a look. Thank you! 178.219.170.136 (talk) 13:34, 29 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I wouldn’t feel confident evaluating this draft because I don’t speak Russian + I’m not familiar with the Russian media landscape (i.e. which sources are considered reliable). Best, Zzz plant (talk) 13:50, 29 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I’m not sure what I’m meant to do with these links. From a cursory look, at least one is not in English + several are not submitted and/or otherwise clearly not ready for mainspace. Zzz plant (talk) 19:15, 29 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, just wanted to thank you for the creation of the Gothenburg rent strike article!

Also, if you have any interest in joining the Alt textWikiProject Housing and Tenant Rights you’re more then welcome to join! It’s pretty active despite the small group. Catboy69 is working on the 2025 rent strike against Capital Realty Group currently for example. There’s a lot of tenant history that simply isn’t covered on Wikipedia at the moment, including even much of the tactics tenants used historically still needing coverage. Again thanks for creating the article! – LoomCreek (talk) 20:11, 3 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hey thank you for the welcome and linking to the wikiproject! It’s still definitely a work in progress (waiting on some interlibrary loan requests as a lot of the sources for it seem to be offline). I’m probably most interested in Nordic (esp. Swedish) social/labor history but there’s a lot of overlap with housing/tenant rights as well. Thanks again 🙂 Zzz plant (talk) 20:47, 3 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, @Zzz plant. Thank you for your feedback on the above-named article. I have already moved it to draft, so I can write it according to the Wikipedia policy and make all the necessary corrections. I am now confused about the speedy deletion nomination. Could you please advise if moving it to draft is helpful to avoid it being deleted? Thanks for your help. SyzygyRebel (talk) 14:19, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I nominated for deletion simply because it was a cross-namespace redirect (from mainspace into draftspace) per WP:R2. I did not otherwise evaluate the article – although from a spot check of page history I see there were previously issues with copyright violation and citing of self-published sources. Since the subject has been tagged as potentially not meeting the academic notability guideline, I would recommend using the AFC process to submit the draft for evaluation. You are free to continue working on it in draftspace. Thanks, Zzz plant (talk) 14:42, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I didn’t know what. Would you be kind enough to move it to AFC for me, please? I am recognising that I may not be able to do this myself. Also, the subject did not cite self-publishing sources but rather, primary sources, and I want to fix that because my intention is not to violate any policy. Thank you. SyzygyRebel (talk) 07:55, 9 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, it’s already in draft space so it didn’t need to be moved – but I added a template so you now should be able to submit the draft for AFC review when you’re finished. Thanks, Zzz plant (talk) 12:16, 9 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@[[User:Zzz plant|Zzz plant], thanks a bunch. You’ve been so helpful. Massive appreciation. SyzygyRebel (talk) 13:42, 11 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you’re up for another editing job, I’ve completed Earl Ellis, another swim coach. The editing shouldn’t be too bad as I’ve checked repeatedly for grammer and spelling. Earl Ellis (swim coach). Check for any obvious signs of pledgarism if you normally do this, though I do rewrite source information consistently. Let me know if you can edit this article. You’ve done several of my swimmers and coaches. Thanks!! Dcw2003 (talk)dcw2003 And thanks again for your previous edits.

Hi @Dcw2003: – no problem, I hope you don’t mind I moved this to my talk page. I will probably do some NPP reviewing later or tomorrow and can take a look then. If someone gets to it before me that’s fine too. Thanks, Zzz plant (talk) 19:43, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I marked Thomas Ã…berg as reviewed because I felt comfortable evaluating it for notability- and thanks for creating that article by the way! No problem, nice job on the article! Zzz plant (talk) 01:57, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You were indeed correct that this article is in need of further attention before being moved out of draftspace. In addition to the need for further sources, the draft needs to be further “wikified”, with non-standard styles of presentation being removed/altered. For instance, there should be “List of publication” and “Reception” sections that are standard in their presentations (list or prose, respectively), and the entries/content therein should be complete, and authoritative.

This also touches on the question of Engqvist’s notability—and we do indeed conclude that he is notable. However, the article is misdirected, in attempting to place him first as a chess player, and second as a chess author. He is notable, not for the first, where he is one among very many, and not notable, but rather for the second, where he is indeed notable, as his chess books have been numerous, and well-received (including beyond his native Sweden).

Hence, a bold, restructuring and redactive edit to wikify the presentation, and alter the presentation, that focuses on his writing, but also removes content that is insufficiently substatiated by sources—this could make the article ready, as a stub, for the main article space. (In this longstanding editor’s opinion.) ~2025-38509-63 (talk) 16:20, 11 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I’m not sure I have anything to add. I draftified the article over three months ago and since then I don’t recall having had any further interaction with it or the author. If you think anything should be changed, you are free to do so and/or start a discussion on the talk page. Best, Zzz plant (talk) 17:59, 11 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your work and assessing the article! I’m not very familiar with the procedures in WP:EN but see that you ranked the article “C-class” according to Wikipedia:Content assessment#Grades. This means among other things that “[t]he article … may still have significant problems or require substantial cleanup.” Could you point me to the issues you see in the article which result in this relatively low rank. This would help me improving the article. —Rießler (talk) 11:56, 8 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Rießler, thank you for your work on the article so far. I was very happy to see such a substantial article on Nordic literature in the feed. A C-class rating is actually a very strong starting point for a brand-new article- most of what I come across during NPP are stub or start class. Regarding the specific assessment, the main reason it was rated C rather than B is the referencing. The article has several paragraphs that lack inline citations (including the entire Background and Periodicals sections). Once that is addressed, the article would likely be ready for a B-class re-assessment. Best, Zzz plant (talk) 12:28, 8 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Zzz plant, This is with regard to the article Thymus mongolicus, which you reviewed. The information provided in the article infobox relates to an animal species rather than to the plant highlighted in the article. This situation needs to be corrected before the article is accepted. @QEnigma: I believe I’ve fixed the issue. The speciesbox had defaulted to Thymus (wasp) rather than Thymus (plant). Zzz plant (talk) 20:09, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

What’s wrong with the capitalization on En directo? I just thought it looked better, but I already de-capitalized the Ds. But I still wanna know what was wrong with it. Thank you.

Jibblesnark86 (talk) 04:53, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, nothing “wrong” per se, just a question of consistency. I moved it to “En directo desde el Teatro Arriaga” because the Spanish Wikipedia article uses “en directo” in lowercase, the album cover itself uses lowercase, and all the sources I could find also render it that way. Under Wikipedia’s article-title conventions, we generally follow what reliable sources use. I believe that in this case it also reflects Spanish capitalization rules – since “directo” is not a proper noun like Teatro Arriaga. Hope that helps explain the move, and let me know if you have another perspective. Best, Zzz plant (talk) 13:22, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Gotcha. Ok, that’s understandable. Didn’t mean to message you like this, but I was just curious. Thank you for the tips. Jibblesnark86 (talk) 20:14, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

No need to apologize- I’d be curious too if someone moved a page I created. Thanks for your work on the article and happy editing 🙂 Zzz plant (talk) 20:18, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message regarding the page for the late attorney Robert W. Munley Jr. I would like to explain the backstory behind my involvement and ask a question about it. I did not create the page but I did move it to draft space because it had been tagged for falling short of the notability guideline for biographies. I moved it to draft space to reduce the urgency for any editor to make a determination on whether the page did or did not meet the notability guideline. To further explain, I have a conflict of interest because I do paid public relations work on behalf of the law firm founded by Robert W. Munley Jr. The page was created prior to my getting involved this month. What I did with the page was to fix a broken link in reference No. 1. The reference now goes to an obituary of Robert W. Munley Jr in the Scranton Times-Tribune. I would like to know if that is enough to satisfy the requirement for notability for the page because now it contains an independent and reliable secondary source. If so, can you remove the tag and reinstate the biography on Wikipedia?
DonFacto (talk) 19:43, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I marked the redirect for deletion – not the article – because it was a cross-namespace redirect from mainspace into draftspace per WP:R2. This is just a procedural task; I didn’t otherwise evaluate the article for notability. Since the subject has been tagged as potentially not meeting the notability guideline, I would recommend using the Articles for Creation process to submit the draft for evaluation. I added a template which will allow you to submit it. I hope this helps, Zzz plant (talk) 21:16, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! Zzz plant (talk) 15:09, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, it took me a while to write this page based on the info about the film in the book World Film Directors, Volume One. I decided to make it because it is considered to be quite an important film in the early sound era and it wasn’t even mentioned in the Gustaf Molander’s page (director of the film), which I’ve been editing lately. Could you please let me know what was wrong about my edit of the film page? I’m quite new here and still learning my way. Thanks. Artful Historian (talk) 08:33, 25 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Artful Historian, first off welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for making the article; it is a very worthy topic and Molander’s work definitely needs more coverage here. I removed the text primarily to avoid cluttering a new article with a “multi-issue” warning template. By trimming it, I was able to mark the page as reviewed, which is a good thing, as it confirms the page belongs on Wikipedia, and allows for the article to be indexed by Google and other search engines.
Regarding the content itself, the prose style had some hallmarks of being LLM-generated, and because several sections lacked inline citations, it was difficult to verify the claims. I was also a bit concerned that the plot summary differed from other sources, like the Swedish Wikipedia. When sources are offline (like the book you mentioned), it’s especially important that the text is clearly cited and written in a standard encyclopedic voice.
Ultimately, I would love to see that information back in the article! The best way to move forward is to rewrite those sections in your own words, ensuring you maintain a neutral POV and provide a citation for each significant claim. If you’d like, you can draft the changes in your sandbox. Let me know if you have any other questions and happy editing! Zzz plant (talk) 12:27, 25 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for the comments. The article was written by me using the mentioned source, and only used AI to translate it, since English is not my native language. I will look into other sources about the plot and revise the text adding citation for every claim. Thanks again. Artful Historian (talk) 13:47, 25 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for explaining and taking the time to follow up. Your plan sounds solid; you have good sources to build an article from. If you run into any issues revising or just want a second pair of eyes on the article, feel free to ping me. I’m involved in the Nordic cinema task force so I’m very glad to see contributions in this area. And once again, welcome! Zzz plant (talk) 14:03, 25 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! Could you consider placing Slipper lamp as a pictured hook in queue 5 or another instead? Was hoping it could be the top hook. Tiamut (talk) 22:37, 26 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tiamut- really nice work on the article, it was a very interesting read. I don’t have any real objection to the hook running in slot 1. That said, to the best of my knowledge placement requests generally aren’t something an individual can decide on, since there are usually more image hooks than can feasibly run (and final placement depends on overall queue balance). I would recommend raising this at DYK talk, that way others can weigh in. Best, Zzz plant (talk) 22:49, 26 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the positive feedback. I did post on talk. I do hope you could just move it though yourself to prep area 5 which currently lacks a hook with a photo. Its a nice picture too and the hook included “(pictured)” and was approved. Would deeply appreciate the extra effort on your part, as I did work rather hard on it and had hoped it would be an Orthodox Christmas feature, though perhaps nominated it too late.
