Dr Michael L. Schlicher is an American nurse scientist and United States Army Nurse Corps officer. He has served in senior academic, military, and federal advisory roles related to nursing research and health policy.

In 2015, Schlicher was appointed as a member of the National Advisory Council for Nursing Research (NACNR), the federal advisory body to the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) at the National Institutes of Health.
