The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards is an annual awards given to exceptional artists and recognizing outstanding television programs, movies and music in the entertainment industry. It is the Philippines counterpart of Hollywood’s Golden Globe Awards..[1]
History
The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) was founded in the early 1960. It is a group of entertainment editors and writers all across all media platform.[2]
Ceremony
In 1985, the Philippine Movie Press Club hosted its first awards for movies.
In 1987, the Philippine Movie Press Club hosted its first awards for television.
