Please feel free to revert and discuss anything I do. I mostly edit around African history. Started with List of kingdoms and empires in African history and the lofty goal of rewriting History of Africa and its child articles, however general histories of the continent are either too out of date or patchy, so currently working on bringing our former country articles up to scratch so content can be copied over to supplement those general histories.[a]
For anyone interested in reading about African history I’d highly recommend the General History of Africa volumes. There’s far too much to do and we desperately need more editors. The colonial period and decolonisation from African perspectives especially get neglected on this site (by me also). Lmk if you need help finding sources. Also feel free to join WP:WikiProject Anthropology/Oral tradition taskforce if it’s something you’re interested in; it didn’t get off the ground but hopefully as the case for oral citations[b] gets stronger if/when TK enters the mainstream, something will be made of it. Some essays I wrote: Wikipedia:Colonial sources and Africa and Wikipedia:Efficiency.
Let me know if you’d like to collab on any of these, or feel free to take one on yourself.
