Hi! As noted above, I’m a COI editor for Google Cloud. Requesting a few updates to this article:
- In the lead and infobox, update Vahdat’s title from “vice president and general manager of AI and infrastructure” to “chief technologist for AI infrastructure”.[1]
- Add to end of “Education”:
-
- In the early 1990s, Vahdat was a research intern at Xerox PARC.[1]
- In “Google”, add after “In 2021, when he was vice president for systems infrastructure, he shared that Google had begun developing custom SoCs.”:
-
- In December 2025, Vahdat became Google’s chief technologist for AI infrastructure, reporting directly to CEO Sundar Pichai.[1]
Thanks for your time!
