Kuber Adhikari is a Nepali educator and online personality, widely recognized for his expertise in Intellectual Quotient (IQ) teaching for the Public Service Commission (PSC) examinations. He is popularly referred to as the “IQ King” in Nepal’s online education community.
Early Life and Education
Adhikari was born and raised in Dailekh, Karnali Province, Nepal, where he completed his early schooling. In 2000, during the Maoist insurgency, his family relocated to Kathmandu due to political unrest.
From a young age, he demonstrated strong intellectual ability and a passion for learning. Although he initially aspired to become an engineer, financial constraints led him to pursue a career as an army officer, for which he prepared for the PSC exam. During the examination, an incident prevented him from completing his goal, which later motivated him to focus on teaching IQ subjects, which were newly introduced in Nepal.
Career
Adhikari co-founded a private IQ coaching center in Baneshwor, Kathmandu, to help students prepare for the PSC and other competitive exams. Although he initially did not plan a long-term teaching career, student appreciation encouraged him to continue teaching.
Over the years, he has provided coaching for students across Nepal, including those from rural districts. He has conducted orientations and workshops in more than 57 districts, focusing on students with limited access to educational resources.
