#* ”’Reason”’: No secondary sources, unclear if he meets NPROF. The last AfD was prematurely closed by an editor I have now blocked as a sock, in part due to an inappropriate AfD close; no convincing evidence was supplied that the subject is notable. The subject’s own research papers and websites of organizations he is affiliated with are not [[WP:INDY|independent sources]], his citation metrics [https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=WyAibTYAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao] are not particularly impressive, and I don’t think the chair is enough to meet [[WP:NACADEMIC]] #5, especially when I can’t find any secondary source (or even a source from the university itself – his official bio [https://www.chu-poitiers.fr/specialites/rachis-douleur-handicap/en/pr-philippe-rigoard/#1588596381907-27fd5410-78ab] makes no mention of it) confirming that he holds this chair. |

Latest revision as of 13:45, 18 December 2025
This is a log of all deletion discussion nominations made by this user using Twinkle‘s XfD module. Note: This does not include nominations I have made using the NPP toolbar.
If you no longer wish to keep this log, you can turn it off using the preferences panel, and nominate this page for speedy deletion under CSD U1.
- Kim Mã station: nominated at AfD; notified 亚洲之星 (talk · contribs) 14:13, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: I could find no significant coverage of this station. The one article cited provides no information about the station beyond naming it in two image captions.
- XW10508: nominated at AfD; notified 76.174.0.57 (talk · contribs) 16:46, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: No significant coverage in independent sources. This article cites three databases and a press release. My BEFORE search only found more of the same. A PROD was disputed by Graeme Bartlett, who argues that [1] contains independent coverage. This report from a market research firm is neither significant coverage nor independent: The subject is mentioned only one time, as an example of a new resistant depression drug, within a paragraph that copies its description of the subject straight from a press release [2]. Thus, I believe there is still no coverage that is either independent or significant, so the subject is not notable.
- Philippine jade culture: nominated at AfD; notified Rsmdoromal (talk · contribs) 10:45, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: This article looks like a POV-pushing heap of WP:OR (see esp. the UNESCO section). I found zero reliable sources using the term “Philippine jade culture” on Google Scholar, a normal web search, or a Wikipedia Library EBSCO search [3]. Google Books turns up only self-published books by someone called “J.G. Cheock” [4]. Most sources cited in the article are news (Taiwan Times, Taiwan News) or primary (UNESCO), and given the apparent dispute between the two I don’t think these can be considered INDEPENDENT. I will work to verify the other offline sources, but what I’ve got thus far is not promising. Toadspike [Talk] 10:45, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
- Battle of Konotop (disambiguation): nominated at AfD; notified HappyWithWhatYouHaveToBeHappyWith (talk · contribs) 15:00, 25 March 2025 (UTC)
- Nesquik (disambiguation): nominated at AfD; notified Yallayallaletsgo (talk · contribs) 15:01, 26 March 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: Useless disambiguation page per WP:ONEOTHER. The primary topic article already has a hatnote, the other article links back to the primary topic in its first sentence. PROD was contested back in 2013 with this edit (warning: NSFW), so I guess this has to go through AfD. Back then there were two other “Nesquik” articles, but both now redirect to the main article.
- JJW Hotels & Resorts: nominated at AfD; notified Crnorizec (talk · contribs) 21:31, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: Procedural nomination on behalf of User:Aona1212, who requested deletion at WT:AfD and the article talk page due to it being unsourced and promotional.
- 1985 Malaysian military operation in the Southern Philippines: nominated at AfD; notified MoneyWikipedian (talk · contribs) 12:20, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: The sources do not verify any of this. Of the four sources cited, one is some unsubstantiated rumors [7], another briefly mentions a response (“a raid on an island”) but does not say where, let alone specify “the Philippines” or “Zamboanga island” [8], the third is an opinion column that makes no mention of this purported operation [9], and the fourth, “Moslem community attacked in raid?” from the Spokane Chronicle on Sep 30, 1985, does not appear to exist (I couldn’t find via a Newspapers.com search). I suspect this might be an AI-generated hoax, but even if it isn’t, this purported event is not notable.
- Joseph Ntung Ari: nominated at AfD; notified Cameremote (talk · contribs) 21:42, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: I initially draftified this article, but reverted myself once I realized it is more than 90 days old. Based on the sources cited, the subject is not notable: refs 1, 2, 4, 5 are just quotes from him (not independent), while the other three are not significant coverage. My web search didn’t find anything better. Additionally, the references consistently fail to support the content they are cited for, e.g. ref 1 [10] makes no mention of “Plateau”, ref 2 [11] is not about his education at all, ref 3 [12] doesn’t mention Plateau, the FRCN, or the NTA. If editors find sufficient sources to deem the subject notable, I ask that the article still be draftified until it is completely rewritten using only information supported by reliable sources.
- Peter New: nominated at AfD; notified Osmie (talk · contribs) 22:15, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: I nominate this article for deletion because the subject is not notable and references do not show that the actor passes WP:NACTOR. as an IP I can not finish the nomination process. All of the references right now are unreliable or mentions with no sig cov 2600:1011:B03A:9C5:A43F:90D:A2C4:9E5C. (Procedural nomination on behalf of an IP) Toadspike [Talk] 22:15, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
- Gnits standards: nominated at AfD; notified Psychonaut (talk · contribs) 06:25, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: I don’t see any independent coverage of these standards; suggest a merge or redirect to GNU Project (I would suggest GNU coding standards, but that doesn’t seem notable either…)
- GNU coding standards: nominated at AfD; notified 132.227.64.21 (talk · contribs) 06:29, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: I can’t find any independent, significant coverage of these standards; suggest a merge to GNU Project. The one book cited doesn’t seem to mention these standards by name, so it seems the sentence they support are OR.
- World 1-2: nominated at AfD; notified Polyopeteaseyerateops (talk · contribs) 09:49, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: Subject is not independently notable, article may be AI-generated and was rejected at AfC. Of the five sources cited, the first two do not mention this level, the third I cannot access (some kind of dead link), the fourth is basically an opinion piece and probably not significant coverage, and the fifth is some kind of how-to guide that is neither a reliable source nor sigcov.
- Template:Format ion formula: nominated at TfD; notified Renamed user awfwvowjvwrvnwio (talk · contribs) 13:38, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: This template had three transclusions before I replaced them all after a discussion at WikiProject Chemistry. The format it outputs is wrong (has a space between letters and superscript) and it duplicates functionality of TM:Chem2 or just plain superscripts. I suggest deleting it.
- Glory (honor): nominated at AfD; notified Auró (talk · contribs) 14:59, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: The purpose of this article is not clear. It seems to be a WP:NOTDICT violation largely duplicating the scope of Kleos. I have merged the remaining Greek content to that article and I request that this be redirected to Kleos. The remaining content, the section on Jorge Manrique, does not seem relevant to the topic of “glory”.
- Cabrera system: nominated at RfD; Target: Hexaxial reference system (notified); notified Andthu (talk · contribs) 17:13, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: I cannot find any evidence that this term is used for the Hexaxial reference system in English (though in German this is called the “Cabrerakreis”). Instead, it seems to only be used as the name of an alternative display order for EKG leads [13][14]. The article originally claimed that the hexaxial system is “better known as” the Cabrera system, but as this was unsupported by the source cited and I couldn’t find any other evidence of that being true, I removed it. [15]Eventually I would like to create an article at this title on the EKG display format, but as I am currently busy with other stuff, the erroneous redirect not mentioned at the target article is best deleted for now. If someone creates that article during this RfD, then the RfD can of course be closed as moot.
- Tim Toady Bicarbonate: nominated at RfD; Target: Perl (notified); notified Apokrif (talk · contribs) 19:46, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
- Princess Changde: nominated at AfD; notified AJMgirl (talk · contribs) 13:50, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: This article is entirely cited to brief mentions in primary sources: the Ming Veritable Records and History of Ming. In the course of the AfC process, the creator added a large number of citations to unreliable sources, which were removed by me and RovingPersonalityConstruct. The remaining non-primary sources do not mention the subject at all: Early Ming China is available on archive.org [16], the Cambridge History (Volume 7) via TWL; neither mentions this person. The Sotheby’s source is also completely unrelated. The four citations to ctext.org provide no indication of where in the 332-chapter Ming Shi we are supposed to look to verify the claims in the article. This leaves an exceedingly poorly-sourced article, with the only somewhat-verifiable citations being four sentences in primary sources – in my view, not enough to meet the GNG.
- 教師: nominated at AfD; notified Sdf (talk · contribs) 11:25, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: This DAB page has two entries. The first seems to violate WP:NOTDICT by consisting solely of a definition and a link to Sino-Vietnamese vocabulary, where the only discussion of this term is two (unsourced) definitions. The other entry is a chapter of a light novel adaptation of a manga. Based on the article, this wasn’t even the name of a standalone volume (book), but a chapter within a book. I do not think redirects from chapter names to books are helpful to our readers (outside of very exceptional cases). Thus, neither entry is valid and this page is unnecessary. Further, a search for this term [17] shows that it appears in hundreds of pages, often in the prose, so this disambiguation page may hinder readers by obscuring the information they are searching for.
- 計算: nominated at AfD; notified Sdf (talk · contribs) 11:36, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: Two entries violate WP:NOTDICT, while the third is a chapter of a manga (not a standalone book/volume, but a chapter of one), which I do not think is a valid or helpful redirect. Better to send readers to the regular search engine.
- 德川: nominated at AfD; notified Yumeto (talk · contribs) 01:03, 17 September 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: All entries on this disambiguation are covered at Tokugawa, which includes the Korean city due to the Japanese occupation. As such, I believe this page should be redirected to Tokugawa. I would normally not suggest this for a Chinese-character DAB page with a Korean entry, but it seems very pointless to me to have the exact same content on two different disambiguation pages. As this could be controversial, I am seeking a consensus at AfD instead of just going for it.
- 床: nominated at RfD; Target: Tokonoma (notified); notified Sdf (talk · contribs) 13:22, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: I tried PRODing this page, but the PROD was contested by Eva UX. I still think this page (now redirect) should be deleted. Tokonoma is only one use of this character, and an extremely obscure one that I have not been able to verify to any sources (not even Wiktionary!). In every language that uses this character, its primary meaning is “bed”. Deleting this redirect would take readers who search for this character to the search results [18], where a link to Wiktionary is prominently featured on the top left. This is the best option for readers, who I am certain are overwhelmingly looking for the meaning of “床”, not some obscure abbreviation of a phrase in which it is used.
- Template:Ctop: nominated at RfD; Target: Template:Collapse top (notified); notified Salvidrim! (talk · contribs) 12:42, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
- Template:Article templates/Archaeal species: nominated at RfD; Target: Template:Article templates/Species (archaea) (notified) 06:35, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: This template redirect seems to be unused after I moved it, so it can probably be deleted. I don’t want to screw anything up, though, so I’m doing this via RfD instead deleting it myself. Please check my work.
- Michael Winn: nominated at AfD; notified Vassyana (talk · contribs) 07:47, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Alex Hormozi: nominated at AfD; notified Luke Megaw (talk · contribs) 11:04, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: Doesn’t cite a single reliable source. I see a blog, press releases, social media sites, the subject’s own website, and the Guinness book of records, which cannot be used to establish notability. Also probably UPE.
- Kevin Sands: nominated at AfD; notified Poundrevue (talk · contribs) 11:21, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- List of state leaders in 1801: nominated at AfD; notified Jonel (talk · contribs) 20:14, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- Winners of 2025 Quant Global Championship: nominated at AfD; notified Akili88 (talk · contribs) 21:04, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: No independent sources, not notable.
- Chan Lai So Chun Memorial School: nominated at AfD; notified HenryLi (talk · contribs) 12:40, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
- SBB: nominated at RM; New name: SBB (disambiguation) 14:55, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: WikiNav [24] shows that 85% of outgoing pageviews (and 80% of total pageviews) from this disambiguation page went to Swiss Federal Railways last month. I would like to move this disambiguation page to SBB (disambiguation), redirect “SBB” to Swiss Federal Railways, and add a hatnote to that article. This would speed up the search process for the vast majority of our readers, who are looking for that specific article.
- Isn’treal: nominated at RfD; Target: Legitimacy of the State of Israel (notified); notified Easternsahara (talk · contribs) 23:48, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- Isnotreal: nominated at RfD; Target: Legitimacy of the State of Israel (notified); notified Easternsahara (talk · contribs) 23:57, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
