Today’s featured list submissions Lists suggested here must be featured lists that have not previously appeared on the main page. Today’s featured list launched in June 2011, initially on each Monday. In January 2014 it was agreed to expand to appear twice a week. The lists will be selected by the FL director, based on the consensus of the community. To submit a list for main page consideration, you simply need to draft a short summary of the list, in approximately 1000 characters, along with a relevant image from the list itself, using the template provided below. Should you need any assistance using the template, feel free to ask for help on the talk page. If you are nominating a list submitted by someone else, consider notifying the significant contributor(s) with The community will review submissions, and suggest improvements where appropriate. If a blurb receives broad support, and there are no actionable objections, one of the directors will confirm that it has been accepted for main page submission. Please note there should be no more than fifteen nominations listed here at any one time. In rare circumstances, the directors reserve the right to exclude a list from main page consideration, a practice consistent with other main page sections such as Today’s featured article and Picture of the day. Should this ever happen, a detailed explanation will be given. |

Noting that I need to update this and/or the subsequent one before either are posted; it’s been so long since I suggested them that they’re out of date. The Kip (contribs) 06:24, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
The Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League have completed seven seasons as of 2024, with an eighth in progress. Noted for their early success as a franchise, the Golden Knights have qualified for the Stanley Cup playoffs six times in their seven completed seasons, with three Pacific Division championships, two Stanley Cup Finals appearances, and a Stanley Cup championship in 2023. During their inaugural season in 2017–18, the franchise broke the NHL records for most wins and points in an inaugural season and became the first franchise since the 1967–68 St. Louis Blues to reach the Finals in their inaugural season; however, they ultimately lost the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals to the Washington Capitals in five games. The Golden Knights later returned to the Finals in 2023, defeating the Florida Panthers in five games to win their first Stanley Cup. (Full list…)
I’ve got three recommended dates for this one: either February 28, 2025, to commemorate the franchise’s official anniversary on March 1st; April 11, 2025, to commemorate their last home game of the current season on the 12th; or June 23, 2025, to commemorate the anniversary of the Vegas expansion bid’s NHL approval on June 22nd. American singer-songwriter SZA co-writes almost all of her songs with their respective producers. For many of them, she is the only lyricist. SZA’s earliest works are built around psychedelic and lo-fi instrumentals, all of which were self-uploaded on the streaming platform SoundCloud. Her debut studio album, Ctrl (2017), is categorized mainly as contemporary R&B. SZA wanted to demonstrate her versatility beyond the genre with her second studio album SOS (2022), which features rap, rock, and pop songs. In 2024, SZA released the reissue of SOS titled Lana; it consists of new music alongside tracks scrapped from SOS. Outside of her albums and extended plays, SZA has appeared on dozens of songs by other musicians like Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah Rashad, and Doja Cat. Her unreleased music includes several album outtakes and scrapped verses, many of which have leaked online. (Full list…)

I would suggest October 17, 2025. This would be almost exactly 55 years since their first game on October 16, 1970. — ZooBlazer 22:18, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
King Christian IX of Denmark (April 8, 1818 – January 29, 1906), known as the “father-in-law of Europe“, ruled Denmark from 1863 to 1906. He and his queen consort, Louise of Hesse-Kassel (September 7, 1817 – September 29, 1898), became the ancestors of many members of European royalty. Christian and Louise had three sons and three daughters together. Although Christian had an affectionate relationship with his daughters, he rejected his eldest son, Frederick, over political differences. After the start of Christian’s reign King of Denmark, Louise helped marry their children into royal families across Europe, including their daughter Princess Alexandra with Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, and their daughter Princess Dagmar with Alexander, Tsarevich of Russia. Some of Christian and Louise’s grandchildren became monarchs themselves. For example, Constantine I, Nicholas II, and George V reigned over Greece, Russia, and the United Kingdom, respectively. Last year, I had the honor of creating this list and making it my first WP:FL on Wikipedia. Although some may be familiar with the royal descendants Queen Victoria had around Europe, this article describes how a relatively lesser-known Danish king and queen were similarly able to influence the continent with their own progeny. If possible, I humbly request that this list be displayed on WP:MAIN on Friday, November 14, 2025, the weekday closest to the anniversary of the start of Christian IX’s Danish reign on November 15, 1863. - This list and the next one (Grammy Award for Best Rap Album) were promoted to FL in 2011 and would benefit from a once-over with the current FL standards in mind. In particular, a few of the images did not have alt texts and MOS:DTAB wasn’t being followed fully. I’d suggest that you start a new topic on WT:FLC for these lists. –MPGuy2824 (talk) 10:40, 22 September 2025 (UTC)

South African artists have collectively won a total of 33 Grammy Awards from 112 nominations. Singer Miriam Makeba (pictured) is widely reported as having been the first African Grammy Award winner when she won Best Folk Recording for An Evening With Belafonte/Makeba in 1966 at the 8th Annual Grammy Awards, although South African-born sound engineer Phil Ramone won a Grammy a year earlier. Makeba won her award while fighting the apartheid regime in South Africa during her exile. Ramone is the most honoured with fourteen accolades, followed by Ladysmith Black Mambazo with five, and the Soweto Gospel Choir and Wouter Kellerman, who are tied with three each. There are currently 42 operational stations on Singapore’s Light Rail Transit (LRT) system, a series of local automated guideway transit lines spanning 26.5 kilometres (16.5 mi) and acting as a feeder service to the country’s Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system. Conceptualised in 1991 and opened in 1999, there are currently three lines on the system, being the Bukit Panjang LRT line (BPLRT), the Punggol LRT line (PGLRT), and the Sengkang LRT line (SKLRT). Of these, there are 13 stations on the BPLRT, 14 on the SKLRT, and 15 on the PGLRT. All stations are elevated and have barrier-free access and fixed platform screen doors. 4 LRT stations interchange with MRT lines, being Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Panjang (pictured), Sengkang, and Punggol. These 4 are also the only LRT stations connected to bus interchanges. 3 stations are planned to interchange with upcoming MRT lines, being Choa Chu Kang, Punggol, and Riviera. On the BPLRT, Ten Mile Junction station used to be in operation, though was closed in 2019. Teck Lee is the most recent LRT station to open, opening in 2024. As of 2023, the LRT serves an average of 202,000 passengers per day. (Full list…)
Note: Would it be possible to run this on 7 November? It’s the closest date to when the LRT first opened (6 November 1999). Icepinner 02:18, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
There are 39 constituencies of the Bahamanian National Assembly, the lower house of the bicameral legislature of The Bahamas, an island country in the Caribbean. It is housed at the Bahamian Parliament Building in Nassau, the national capital. The current Assembly was elected by the general election held on 16 September 2021. The Members of Parliament (MPs) are directly elected from single-seat constituencies and sit for a term of five years. The current constituencies are based on the recommendations of the Constituency Commission in 2021. The commission conducts a review of the electoral boundaries every five years and makes recommendations to keep constituencies roughly the same size while considering other factors like “the needs of sparsely populated areas”. The constituency of MICAL is the smallest in terms of the number of voters (1,392), while Golden Isles is the largest with 7,391 voters. (Full list…)
