Season of television series
The fourth season of the singing impersonation competition Your Face Sounds Familiar premiered on Kapamilya Channel on October 4, 2025. The season is presented by new hosts Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario. Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, and Sharon Cuneta all returned to serve as the jury.
It was also the first and only season that aired on TV5, where it aired there until December 28, 2025. Additionally, it is the first season to air on ALLTV, beginning on January 3, 2026.[1][2]
Development
On August 14, 2025, it was announced at the “Iisang Tahanan: Kapamilya Forever Trade Launch” that it will have a fourth season. Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro were named as the new hosts, replacing Luis Manzano.[3][4][5] To promote the season, Navarro and Hilario appeared as guest performers in the final episode of Idol Kids Philippines on September 28, 2025.[6]
On January 2, 2026, the show and other remaining ABS-CBN programs airing on TV5 were transferred to AMBS‘ ALLTV, marking its return to channels 2 and 16 in Mega Manila and regional channels previously held by ABS-CBN until 2020. This occurred after TV5 Network‘s decision to terminate its content partnership deal with ABS-CBN, which effectively ceased broadcasting programs produced by the latter on TV5, due to financial disputes involving blocktime fees which was subsequently settled.[7][8][9]
Format
The season features several new mechanics and changes in the format:
Round length
In previous seasons of Your Face Sounds Familiar and Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids, one round typically lasted one week, consisting of performances aired on Saturday and Sunday. In the current season, the duration of each round has been extended to two weeks, lasting for two consecutive weekends, with performances aired on both Saturday and Sunday.
Steal
Based on “Te lo robo” from the original Spanish version of the format, the Steal allows a performer to take another performer’s assigned icon for the following week by pressing the red button during the Iconizer segment. Each performer may use this power only once throughout the season. When a performer uses the Steal button after already receiving an icon, their original icon is transferred to the person they stole from. If the performer being stolen from already has already received an icon, the two performers simply swap icons. Else, if the stealing performer has not yet received an icon, the performer who was stolen from must press the Iconizer button again to receive a new one. It is currently unknown how this rule will apply to JMielle as they are a duo.
The Iconizer button has been changed to blue following the introduction of the Steal button.
Battle of One Icon
Debuting in Round 4, the Battle of One Icon is a new mechanic in which two or more celebrity performers are assigned to impersonate the same icon but perform different songs separately. The selection is made randomly by the Iconizer.
- Round 4: Alexa Ilacad and Jason Dy were assigned to transform into Britney Spears. Dy was assigned the artist first with “Toxic” as the song, followed by Ilacad with “I’m a Slave 4 U“.
- Ilacad later won the round with 36 points, followed by Dy in second place with 21 points. Ilacad emerged as the winner of the first Battle of One Icon round.
- Round 7: Dia Maté and Rufa Mae Quinto were assigned to transform into Jennifer Lopez. Quinto was assigned the artist first with “On the Floor” as the song, followed by Maté with “Papi“.
- Only Maté was able to perform as Lopez and placed fifth in that round with 6 points, as Quinto was unable to proceed due to a medical emergency that occurred prior to her scheduled performance.
