American college football season

The 1954 Tulane Green Wave football team was an American football team that represented Tulane University during the 1954 college football season as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). In its first year under head coach Andy Pilney, Tulane compiled a 1–6–3 record (1–6–1 in conference games), finished in tenth place in the SEC, and was outscored by a total of 144 to 46.[1]

The Green Wave played its home games at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans.
