JORN began his musical journey as a child in the Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir. He later played the son of Steen Springborg in the Danish comedy film Elvis Hansen, en samfundshjælper.

In 1996, JORN released his debut solo album, Loosen Up, co-produced with Ole Kibsgaard and Chief 1. The album featured 14 tracks and was released internationally. It included radio hits such as “Smile” and “Laughter in the Rain”, and the Norwegian number-one single “Back to My Baby”.

He later wrote, produced, and performed “Indtoget i Jerusalem” for the album Dejlig er haven, based on lyrics by Johannes Møllehave. He also contributed to the award-nominated album OPS – Perker for altid.
