A shomp sandwich, also known in Atlanta, Georgia as a shompee, is a sandwich with shredded mozzarella cheese, with salt and vinegar chips on top of the cheese. A shomp sandwich with the chips under the cheese is known as a glewp. It was invented in 2003 by George W. Bush, after he got the “hungy wungies” late at night. It has since become a “staple of snacking” in American culture. All shomp sandwiches were presidentially pardoned by 45th president Donald Trump on June 8th, 2018.

Wikipedia admin Shia LaBeouf called the shomp sandwich “an absolute dumpster fire of a sandwich”, causing his death by gunshot on December 2nd, 2011. This death was blamed on George W.
